OPTIMISING ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN UNITY
Watch the recording of the webinar held on 16 April by our partners, the Sustainable Games Alliance.
You will hear:
- How to optimise Energy Efficiency in Unity (with Dale Kim, Software Engineer at Unity)
- An expert discussion with Neil Patel
An open Q&A
During this session, participants were given a hands-on introduction to energy-saving techniques using the processor’s SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) instructions with Burst and Unity.Mathematics.
They also learned how to adapt their code using an example inspired by the world of video games in order to take advantage of SIMD, whilst discovering the resulting gains in performance and energy efficiency. ![]()
PLAYING FOR THE PLANET

Ithaca, the new game in development by The Pixel Hunt.
The studio behind Wednesdays (winner of two awards at the latest Pégases Awards) will soon be launching a Kickstarter campaign for its new game called Ithaca, a narrative road-trip RPG about climate resistance.
“You play as Penelope, an environmental lawyer fed up with seeing big polluting corporations get away scot-free. One day, she decides to cross the line and joins a group of radical activists… only to find herself caught up in a top-secret mission. The catch? The CEO of a powerful oil company is along for the ride, tied up in your boot.”
The Kickstarter campaign will be available soon.

Discover ALL WILL FALL, out since 3 April !
ALL WILL FALL is a post-apocalyptic simulation game focused on survival and city-building, where every structure could collapse at any moment. ![]()
The game, developed by the lituanian studio All Parts Connected and published by tinyBuild, has been available since 3 April.
The game features an original 3D building system, based on realistic physics in a ruined world engulfed by an endless ocean.
Your goal is to develop a modest colony into a sustainable vertical city. To ensure the prosperity of your population, you’ll need to manage resources, organise logistics, develop production lines, meet the needs of the inhabitants, deal with unforeseen events and explore the surroundings.
